01 — Introduction
Welcome to That's The One ("TTO", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TTO platform, including our website at thatstheone.com, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
TTO is operated by That's The One Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office in London, United Kingdom.
By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
02 — Definitions
"User" refers to any individual or entity who accesses or uses the Service, including couples planning their wedding, wedding planners, and event professionals.
"Account" means your registered user profile on TTO.
"Content" refers to all text, images, data, documents, floor plans, guest lists, seating arrangements, and other materials uploaded, shared, or created through the Service.
"Subscription" means the paid plan under which you access premium features of the Service.
"Collaborators" means individuals you invite to participate in planning through your TTO account.
03 — Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or breach of security.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or contain false information.
04 — Subscriptions & Payments
TTO offers both free trials and paid subscription plans. By selecting a paid plan, you agree to the following:
Billing: Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) according to the plan you select. All prices are displayed in your chosen currency and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Free Trial: If you sign up for a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period expires. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid charges.
Renewals: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel prior to renewal.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access until that date.
Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable. However, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
05 — Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes related to event planning and management. You shall not:
Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems.
Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service using automated means without our written consent.
Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any portion of the Service without express authorisation.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any violations, including suspension or termination of your account.
06 — Intellectual Property
All content, features, functionality, design, graphics, trademarks, logos, and software comprising the Service are owned by or licensed to That's The One Ltd and are protected by international intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purposes, subject to these Terms. This licence does not permit you to modify, distribute, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Service.
The "That's The One" and "TTO" names, logos, and all related marks are trademarks of That's The One Ltd. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
07 — User Content
You retain ownership of all Content you upload, create, or share through the Service. By submitting Content, you grant TTO a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, and display your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
You are solely responsible for the Content you share and must ensure you have the rights to do so.
You must not upload Content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing, or otherwise unlawful.
We do not claim ownership of your Content and will not use it for marketing or advertising purposes without your explicit consent.
Data Portability: You may export your data at any time through the tools provided within the platform. Upon account deletion, we will remove your Content in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable law.
08 — Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described therein.
We comply with applicable data protection regulations, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
Where you invite Collaborators or manage guest information through the Service, you are responsible for ensuring you have obtained any necessary consents for sharing their personal data with TTO.
09 — Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, websites, or applications (such as payment processors, communication tools, or vendor directories). These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
TTO is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of such services is at your own risk, and we encourage you to review the terms and policies of any third-party service before use.
10 — Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. While we strive for reliability and uptime, we cannot guarantee continuous or fault-free operation.
TTO does not provide wedding planning advice, and any tools, templates, or suggestions within the Service are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional counsel.
11 — Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, That's The One Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you have paid to TTO in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
12 — Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless That's The One Ltd and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
Your use of the Service or any violation of these Terms.
Any Content you upload, share, or transmit through the Service.
Your infringement of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
Any disputes between you and your Collaborators, vendors, or guests arising from the use of the Service.
13 — Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings within the platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if required to do so by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
14 — Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the Service itself. When material changes are made, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service following the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.
15 — Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation.
