From invitation to check-out, guests can expect a best-in-class digital experience. For the curious, here's what they can expect:
When guests open your RSVP link they'll be greeted with your chosen photo and welcome message. Our RSVP works on almost all modern devices, including phones – so there's no excuse not to submit!
The first step collects some basic contact information such as their phone number and email address. This information is compared against your guestlist to check if they have any existing information and if they are part of a household.
Where guests are part of a household or have a plus-one they'll be asked to respond the whole group, otherwise they will be asked to respond for themselves.
Once their RSVP has been submitted each respondent receives a copy of their answers and their responses will be automatically synced to your guestlist.
Asking follow up questions
If you find yourself needing additional information or just want guests to re-confirm (such as a soft/hard RSVP), guests can always re-submit their RSVP using the same link. Any updates will be automatically synced to your guestlist and you can see the date and time of the last modification in the "updated at" column.
Using RSVP to populate your guestlist
When an RSVP doesn't match anyone in your guestlist (by phone or email) it's saved and added to your inbox for review. You can choose to ignore the RSVP (perhaps they are not invited), assign the RSVP to a guest already in your list (and update their information), or create a new guest using the RSVP responses. This feature can be a powerful way to build an empty guestlist or to collect additional contact information from guests. You can find your RSVP link in your wedding settings to either share directly with your guests or create a QR code for your paper invite.
Your guests can choose and book their room from your bespoke accommodation page with tailored information about your celebration. Guests can choose from local hotels or accommodation you have already secured across a range of room types. We make it easy for them to pay in most currencies, cards and on some reservations offer a split payment (where only a deposit is required to secure the room).
Where we have arranged a room-block for you or if you have already secured rooms, guests can choose their room for your chosen dates, try out the experience here. For many weddings it may be better to offer custom dates and dynamic pricing, where guests can choose their arrival and departure dates and are quoted in real-time. We almost always offer a better price than the lowest, publicly available rate (comparison against the same room, inclusions, and conditions with no loyalty or membership discounts applied).
Where possible we prefer to offer fully refundable rates to give guests more flexibility (usually a full refund up-to 14 days before check-in). Occasionally other sites may offer a lower price for the same room, be aware that these often come with no refunds or more stringent inclusions.
We've partnered with Welcome Pickups to help guests book any transfers they may need. A link to book transfers is included with their accommodation confirmation. If you have specific transfer needs please let us know. We're working to bring more comprehensive transport logistics to the platform soon.
